Colors! The Representation of One’s Personality



Colors give us light. It is giving us happiness. It gives us life.

It’s true that, without color earth is dead. There’s no happiness. Joy will never exist. Without color we cannot appreciate things that we see. Without color, our environment, our trees, mountains, oceans, flowers and also things around us is dull. I think its hard to think without colors, because colors have different meanings and energy.



There are primary, secondary and tertiary colors.

Primary colors are yellow, blue and red.

 The shade of yellow represents pure, brightness, like our sunny sun. Yellow color gives us energy, joy, and happiness. It symbolizes wisdom. Intellectual people love yellow. Wearing yellow clothes in your office can help clear minds, improves memory and helps in decision making. In every country, yellow is used in school buses, the reason behind that is, yellow buses gets more attention than the other color. It is also more visible in our vision that red. Yellow is my favorite color because it gives energy, life, happiness in me.

The shade of blue is the color of sky, heaven, ocean; it is the color of inspiration and calm, spirituality and sincerity. It is the color good for homes and used for babies. Artists use blue to show perspectives. Blue is used for calming and for relaxation. It’s like a therapy. Wear blue if you want to communicate to others. Write on a blue paper if you want help in remembering speeches and information.



The shade of red is the color of warm, passion, lust, it is associated with heat and top of the males pick. In Chine, red brings prosperity, wealth and happiness. They wear red bridal gowns and their doors are painted with red color. It is the color of blood, and it symbolizes life and vitality. Wearing of red clothes can boost your confidence if you have interviews and presentations. It increases sex appeal.




Secondary colors are the mixing of two primary colors.

Green


The shade of green represents nature, life, fertility; it is the color of balance, learning, growth and harmony. It symbolizes well-being and self-respect. Green is known for healing eyes. Eat green raw food its good for the health. Wear green clothes, to overcome the feeling of losing hope.


                   Violet
The shade of violet is used if you are seeking for spiritual fulfillment, purpose. It is good to used in meditation. Violet is preferred by artists. Violet symbolizes magic, mystery and royalty. Wear violet if you want to promote imagination and magic.

                   Orange

The shade of orange is said to increase the craving for food, it is a healing color, and it means vitality and endurance. People who love orange are sincere and thoughtful. Wear orange clothes to bring shock and balance your emotions.


There is another group of colors. They are the neutral colors, such as the black, white and gray because they appear to be without color.

Black
The shade of black is very elegant and formal. It symbolizes death in other culture and some believe it is lucky because it is the color of soil which gives life. It is not a color. Don’t wear black in noon if you are going outside because black absorbs all kinds of light and the sun light.

White
The shade of white represents purity, openness and truth, it means kindness. Brides in many countries wear white because it symbolizes virginity. Other countries wear white at funerals. Like the black, white is not a color. Wear white if you want to present wholesomeness and surround with white if you want to refresh your mind.

                         Gray
Lastly, the shade of gray, it is the true color of neutral. It represents sorrow; Americans associate it with friendship, emptiness, emotion. It symbolizes security and maturity.

Tertiary colors are the combination of one primary color and one secondary color. There are six colors; red-orange, yellow-green, blue-green, yellow-orange, red-violet and blue-violet.

There is a color wheel. It is illustrative color hues in a circle that shows relationships between primary and secondary colors. Gray is mostly worn in business world.

Rainbow is the example of color presentation. Rainbow is consisting various colors such as the colors of Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and violet.

Colors are also used for some therapies, self improvement, mental care and meditation.
